Active Ingredients: Per recommended daily dosage (2 scoops or 2 UltraCruz Singles packets; 164 g):

Aluminum Phosphate: 22,400 mg
Dihydroxy Aluminum Sodium Carbonate: 22,400 mg

Inactive Ingredients: Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Flax Seed (milled), Soybean oil, Lignin Sulfonate, Calcium Propionate (as a preservative).

Directions for Use: Servings based on an average horse weight of 1,000 lbs.

Hello, This product is intended to help maintain neutral stomach acid, in addition to maintaining coating agents to safeguard the stomach. This is suited for performance horses as well as horses with weight maintenance issues. This is designed to be fed all year round to achieve results.

can you use this product on sheep and goat?

This product is intended for horses and we recommend consulting with your vet before feeding this to sheep and goats. The Ultra Cruz line does have UltraCruz® Livestock Probiotic Supplement for Cattle, Goats, Sheep and Pigs that is intended for livestock.

How does this compare to neigh-lox?

Hello! Our UltraCruz product would have the same amount of Aluminum Phosphate and Dihydroxy Aluminum Sodium Carbonate. They are both pelleted, but the UltraCruz product contains Flax Seed and Alfalfa for the pellet base compared to the ground oats and wheat. Our product would also be a more economic supplement with a 15 day supply for adult horse costing only $30.95, while the Neigh-lox would cost about $28.95 for only a 7 day supply for the adult horse.

The instructions say to give half dose to "young horses". What do you consider to be a young horse? I have a 2 year old filly and I am not sure what dose to give her. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the great question. The dosage is based on weight, so if your filly weighs close to or over 1,000lbs, she can have the whole dose. A young horse would typically be one that weighs well under 1000lbs.

I have a 16 yr old that stays on pasture and normally loves to eat, lately he is no longer eating as he was, seems uncomfortable. Vet found nothing wrong.  Would you suggest .probiotics or advanced gastric support?

After a couple of years of accepting "not quite right but not awful", I figured out my horse (retired upper-level dressage) has gastric issues that come and go. With this last flare-up, I wanted something to put him on regularly. This supplement caught my eye because of the aluminum, which was different from the other supplements I'd seen and reminded me of sucralfate (which seems so hard to feed correctly in a boarding situation). I tried the 5lb bag and came back for the 25lb bag. Horse, who has always been kind and fancy, is now happy and cuddly as well. I plan to keep him on this to avoid future flare-ups and let him enjoy his new outlook on life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 26 year old horse responded great! My 26 year old Quarter Horse Jubal had very runny manure and for 3 years we couldn’t find a product that helped. Our vet checked him and ran tests and could find no cause for his situation. I received a few pacts of the gastric sample when I ordered another product. I decided to try it. Within a few days I noticed a difference in my horse’s stall. He also did not have brown stained legs. this product was the right thing that his body needs. He has been on it for 3 months and he has normal manure! No more cow patties or running water! He thanks you and of course I thank you. I will definitely keep him on this product.

She has been maintaining a good healthy weight ever since I put her on this product, whereas she use to fluctuate a bit beforehand. What’s even more remarkable is that I only feed this once a day. For the ingredients and price you can’t beat this supplement. I am one super happy customer!

I'm sure the product would work even better if you just add it to their daily meal consistently and possibly long term

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference! I started my 8 yr old QH horse mare has on the gastric support supplement hoping to help her nervousness and flat out crazy jumpiness! She had also started with new Cinchyness and loose stool when saddling her. The difference after two weeks was amazing. Even my farrier couldn’t believe the difference in her demeanor. Sitting on the cross ties nice and calm. No dancing around, twitching like crazy. Head down blinking slowly . Almost like a different horse.

I decided to give this product a try because it was in pellet form and I knew he would get all of it down. I saw a huge difference in a week. It didn’t cure his cribbing but it absolutely slowed him down and he seemed a lot happier all around.
