UltraCruz® Equine Foaming Shampoo for Horses is an effective but gentle biodegradable foaming shampoo designed to be used with our UltraCruz® Foaming Tool. Proteins and moisturizers work together to leave skin and coat clean, shiny, soft and healthy. Natural essential oils will leave your horse smelling great!

UltraCruz® Equine Foaming Shampoo for Horses breaks down and washes dirt away without stripping natural oils just like our original shampoo, but is provided in an extremely easy to use format.

I purchased the UltraCruz® Equine Foaming Shampoo to give my pastured horses their first "Spring Bath". Once you apply the foam to your horse, it does the work for you. It does a great job of pulling dirt and grime to the surface where it can be easily rinsed away. My horses are left smelling clean and fresh and their coats are so soft.

UltraCruz Equine Bright White helps bring out the shine in your horse's white and pigmented areas. As far as the itchiness, we do offer an UltraCruz Medicated Foaming and regular shampoo. If itchiness persists, we suggest you consult with a veterinarian to properly identify and treat the issue.

Hello! I comes with a tap-like spigot and that is how the shampoo comes out. Foaming tools are available for purchase separately. The catalog number for the foaming tool is sc-395752.

How do you attach the tap-like spigot to the five gallon foaming shampoo? The opening is to big and there is a random cap on the back that screws on but the plastic it screws into is sealed and not open anyway so I don’t understand it’s use.

Hello there! That cap is so it doesn't leak during shipment. It is easily penetrate that with some kind of blunt or sharp object (like a pocket knife) to break that seal. The more you open it, the better the shampoo will flow. Then you can just screw the tap back on and you're good to go!

You attach it to the hose, and then it's like going to the car wash. BAM Foamsoap EVERYWHERE! I've never had more fun washing a horse in my life. My horse, *did* think that the foam was the devil, but then she's special. She's not fond of suds in any form once they're on the ground... *insert eye rolling emoji here* but the shampoo itself, was MAGICAL! It smells DIVINE and she is blindingly white and silky now! Guys, you GOTTA try this. Did I mention how much fun it is to squirt on the horse?

I love the traveling foaming applicator and think it is super cool that it can be opened up and refilled so that I can have a traveling foaming shampoo without having to buy another applicator! This shampoo could not be easier to use and my gelding thought the foam was a fun addition to bath time! Left him super soft and shiny and I don't think we've ever been done with bath time faster. Absolutely worth giving it a shot and if you haven't tried the foaming shampoo's yet, you do not know what you are missing!

Done are the days of spending far too long scrubbing your horse and still not getting their skin clean! Easy attachment to the hose and I loved that the lever allowed you soap or water without having to remove the nozzle. And it smells great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Santa Cruz shampoo is the BOMB Smells great, you only need a little, doesn't get overly foamy (my pet peeve), and really gets white markings white. I was incredibly impressed. All I did was spray it on, let it sit, and my horse's white feet were as white as I've ever seen them except when I scrub with blue/purple tinted shampoo. They were really, really white with NO SCRUBBING. Couldn't be easier! I'm a convert.

It is so quick and easy to use and cleans all the sweat and dirt off without scrubbing. The two year olds just getting started under saddle never get girth itch. The foaming tool has lasted longer than most of the other tools I have used. A great compliment to the Ultra Cruz Equine Shampoo and Conditioner.

I have stayed away from foaming wash products in the past, hearing how many are hard to wash out, drying to the coat, leak where attached to the hose and often just use more product than a bucket and sponge. In fact, after I received the bottle of UC Foaming shampoo, it sat on the shelf for about three weeks. A few days ago, I was in a time crunch after working a horse and grabbed this product. Firstly I noticed that the bottle came with a hose washer (great!, didn't have to dig one up in the barn), then how the spray was just enough to get under all the hair but still be comfortable to the horse. Next was the amount of foam that covered well and rinsed off completely. I thought, so far, so good. But the real test was two days later when noticed how her coat was still soft and shiny. From being an "old school skeptic" to a repeat customer...well done, guys, well done.
