My horse has extreme insect allergies in very hot, humid, and buggy Florida. He cannot take steroids and other feed throughs have not helped. Unfortunately, the bugs had already eaten hair off of his face by the time I received the supplements, but now they seem to be leaving him alone. My senior horse has been struggling with severe eye allergies for a couple of years now. So bad in fact that the discharge from his eyes had scalded the skin around his eyes; the hair was gone, and there was a lot of inflammation. I tried numerous medications, ointments, and supplements to no avail. Looking for a product for allergies, trouble breathing?

I have a BLM Mustang that is 18yr - he has seasonal and year around allergies as well as heaves. I used to use so many different supplements for joint, allergies, skin, coat, and heaves - I now use the SCA Skin and Allergy and Garlic Flakes 2x daily, and another brand joint support. My horse no longer has heaves and his seasonal allergies and hives battle has disappeared. He'll still gets welts from fly bites but he doesn't get hives from them anymore! I have been very pleased with SCA products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good for hivey horse! We're 3 weeks in to using UltraCruz Equine Skin & Allergy. My horse (and every horse in our barn, really) has been getting terrible bug bites and the resulting hives and then rain rot due to a terribly wet year in Western PA. He's still coming in from turnout with a few swollen bug bites each day, but it's no longer turning into hives across his whole body. I no longer have to throw a sheet over him at competitions to hide his baldness :) I'll probably switch over to the Skin & Coat supplement for cooler weather, but plan to keep him on this until the first frost, and will start up again next April before "hives" season kicks in again.

I got a few samples of this to try in one of my orders and my gelding ate it so nicely, I thought I'd try the larger size to see what kind of results would happen. My gelding has very sensitive allergies and pollen season is so hard on him. Since putting him on this supplement, I can tell he is feeling and breathing better. I've tried different herbs and supplements before with him and nothing has made a difference. He still has some minor issues, but it is so much better than it was before. My vet even commented on him the last time he was out and I showed him this supplement and he thought it was great and told me to keep him on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more watery eyes This is the first time I tried this product on red I was told when I got this horse he was allergic to Alfalfa which I thought was kind of odd he always has runny eyes and runny nose and I've changed his feed a little but also supplemented with the ultra Cruz equine Skin & Allergy this seems to have made a great difference in his eyes and the runny nose he doesn't have it anymore I'm now going to order my second bag and keep him on this product

After less than a week taking UltraCruz Equine Skin and Allergy Supplement, his hives went away. The hives have not returned, and I couldn't be happier with this product.

She has always rubbed on trees, the stall walls and anything that provides a rough surface that gave her temporary relief. After 3 weeks of feeding UltraCruz Equine Skin and Allergy Supplement I am so happy to say that she is no longer itching or welted from bug bites. I actually noticed the results right away, I came back to the website today to order more before we run out and wanted to let others know how great this product is!

I received a sample bag of the UltraCruz Equine Skin and Allergy pellets. My horse loved the taste so this spring I purchased a bag and waited. At the first sign of a swollen bug bite area I started her on the pellets. She has been on the pellets for two months and so far I haven't seen any more swollen areas.
