Bovikalc^® Oral Mineral Supplement

Bovikalc® Oral Mineral Supplement contains calcium boluses to support fast, long lasting serum calcium levels in freshening cows. The unique formula offers two sources of calcium: calcium chloride for blood serum calcium levels available within 30 minutes, and calcium sulphate for sustained calcium levels over time. A special fat coating on the bolus minimizes throat irritation and helps protect the cow's throat. Bolus form minimizes waste and reduces risk of material entering lungs, which causes aspiration pneumonia. Administer orally using a balling gun. Do not use in cows lying down or showing signs of hypocalcemia (milk fever).

Each bolus of 192 g contains 43 grams of calcium.
