Cattlemaster® 4 + VL5 is for the vaccination of healthy beef cattle as an aid in the prevention of the following respiratory and reproductive diseases of cattle:

Respiratory diseases:

  • Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR)
  • Bovine viral diarrhea (BVD Types 1 and 2)
  • Parainfluenza3 (PI3)
  • Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV)

Leptospirosis caused by:

  • Leptospira canicola
  • L. grippotyphosa
  • L. hardjo
  • L. icterohaemorrhagiae
  • L. pomona

In addition, Cattlemaster® 4 + VL5 protects against Campylobacteriosis (Vibriosis) caused by Campylobacter fetus.

This vaccine provides killed protection against IBR and PI3. It also provides modified live virus BRSV protection. As a result, Cattlemaster® 4 + VL5 can be administered to calves and pregnant cows. Rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the included liquid component and administer intramuscularly. Do not administer within 21 days before slaughter. Annual revaccination is with a single dose is recommended.

Due to increased risk of adverse reactions, this vaccine should be used with caution in dairy cattle.

Supplied as either a 10 dose or 25 dose bottle with diluent. Needles and syringes sold separately.
