Cattlemaster® GOLD FP® 5 is for the vaccination of healthy beef and dairy cows and heifers prior to breeding as an aid in the prevention of the following respiratory and reproductive diseases of cattle:
- Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR)
- Bovine viral diarrhea (BVD Types 1 and 2)
- Parainfluenza3 (PI3)
- Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV)
Cattlemaster® GOLD FP® 5 is a combination vaccine covered under Zoetis' Fetal Protection (FP) Guarantee, which assures protection against IBR abortion as well as persistently infected (PI) calves caused by BVD types 1 and 2. This vaccine provides killed protection against BVD PI and IBR abortion. It also provides demonstrated safe modified live virus IBR, PI3 and BRSV protection.
As a result, Cattlemaster® GOLD FP® 5 can be administered to any calf, any cow (including pregnant cows), any time. Rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the included liquid component and administer subcutaneously. Do not administer within 21 days before slaughter. Annual revaccination is with a single dose is recommended.
Supplied as either a 10 dose or 25 dose bottle with diluent. Needles and syringes sold separately.
