Cydectin^® Pour-On

Cydectin® Pour-On is a topical dewormer that controls gastrointestinal roundworms (including brown stomach worms), lungworms, grubs, lice, and mites in cattle. Cydectin® Pour-On also protects against horn flies for up to 7 days. Provided as a ready to use formula that requires no mixing. Rainfall does not affect the efficacy of Cydectin® Pour-On. To achieve the most effective external parasite control, apply Cydectin® Pour-On to all cattle in the herd. Does not affect dung beetle populations. No meat or milk withdrawal period. Safe for use in breeding animals. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

Ingredients: Cydectin® Pour-On contains 5 mg moxidectin per ml (antiparasitic).

Indications: Cydectin® Pour-On is effective in the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms (brown stomach worms -- 28 days of persistent activity), lungworms (42 days of persistent activity), cattle grubs, mites and 4 types of lice.

Dosage and Administration: Ready-to-use topical formulation intended for direct application to the hair and skin in a narrow strip extending along the top of the back from the withers to the tailhead. Apply to healthy skin avoiding any mange scabs, skin lesions, mud or manure. Treated cattle can be easily recognized by the characteristic purple color, which will remain for a short period of time after treatment. The recommended rate of administration is 1 ml for each 22 lb (10 kg) body weight which provides 0.5 mg moxidectin for each 2.2 lb (0.5 mg/kg) body weight.

Storage: Store product at or below room temperature. Avoid prolonged exposure above 25°C (77°F).
If product becomes frozen, thaw completely and shake well prior to use.
