Effectively control a variety of parasites that impact cattle and swine with the antiparasitic action of doramectin.

Dectomax® Injectable Solution treats and controls a variety of roundworms and arthropod parasites of cattle and swine in one dose. Parasites in livestock contribute to decreased appetite, reduced feed intake, and poor performance. This injectable bovine and porcine dewormer can be used in beef cattle, dairy cattle and swine to control the following internal and external parasites:

In cattle:

  • Gastrointestinal roundworms
  • Lungworms
  • Eyeworms
  • Grubs
  • Sucking lice
  • Mange mites

In swine:

  • Gastrointestinal roundworms
  • Lungworms
  • Kidney worms
  • Sucking lice
  • Mange mites

Each mL of Dectomax® Injectable Solution contains 10 mg of doramectin, sufficient to treat 110 lb of body weight in cattle or 75 lb or body weight in swine. This product has a 35 day slaughter withdrawal time in cattle, and a 24 day slaughter withdrawal time in swine.

Dectomax® Injectable Solution is safe for use in beef cattle, including pregnant cows, newborn calves and bulls, and dairy replacement heifers up to 20 months of age. Because a withdrawal time in milk has not been established, do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. Dectomax® Injectable Solution may also be used in breeding sows, gilts and boars as well as feeder pigs, weaners, growers and finishers.
