Eazi Breed^™ CIDR^® for Sheep

Eazi-Breed™ CIDR® Sheep Inserts are for the synchronization of estrus in sheep. They may help improve the timing and efficiency of breeding programs. Use one intravaginal insert per animal, which releases progesterone for a five-day treatment period. Removal of the insert on the fifth treatment day results in a drop in plasma progesterone levels, which triggers estrus within 1-3 days. Use standard breeding procedures to breed ewes at induced estrus. Each Eazi-Breed™ CIDR® insert contains 0.3g progesterone in an inert silicon elastomer. Eazi-Breed™ CIDR® inserts may provide more accurate prediction of breeding and lambing dates.

Ingredients: Each Eazi Breed™ CIDR® For Sheep contains 0.3 gram of progesterone in molded silicone over a flexible nylon spine.

Indications: Eazi Breed™ CIDR® For Sheep is used for the induction of estrus in ewes (sheep) during seasonal anestrus. Seasonal anestrus is when ewes do not have regular estrous cycles outside the natural breeding season.

Directions for Use: For induction of estrus in ewes (sheep) during seasonal anestrus - Administer one Eazi Breed™ CIDR® For Sheep per ewe for 5 days. After insert removal, use standard flock breeding procedures to breed ewes at induced estrus.

Storage: Store at controlled room temperature 20° to 25° C (68° to 77° F) with excursions between 15° to 30° C (59° to 86° F).

Caution: Do not use in ewes with abnormal, immature or infected genital tracts. Do not use in ewes that have never lambed. Do not use an insert more than once. To prevent the potential transmission of venereal and blood borne diseases the Eazi Breed™ CIDR® For Sheep should be disposed after a single use.
