Fluvac Innovator® 4 is for the vaccination of healthy horses and foals 10 months of age and older as an aid in the prevention of the following diseases of horses:
- Equine Influenza (type A2)
- Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis
- Western Equine Encephalomyelitis
- Tetanus
This equine combination vaccine contains killed viruses and does not require reconstitution prior to administration. Fluvac Innovator® 4 should be administered intramuscularly, with a second dose in 3-4 weeks. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. Early revaccination may be advisable when horses are faced with an outbreak or with other conditions which might make heavy exposure likely. Consult a veterinarian before administering this vaccine to pregnant mares.
Supplied as either a single dose syringe (with needle) or 10 dose bottle (needles and syringes sold separately).
To provide healthy horses, pregnant mares and foals at least 10 months of age with the addition of Equine Rhinopneumonitis (EHV-1 and EHV-4) protection, we recommend Fluvac® Innovator 5.
Or, to provide healthy horses, pregnant mares and foals at least 10 months of age with the addition of Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis (VEE) protection, we recommend Fluvac® Innovator Triple E FT.
