Fluvac Innovator® 6 is for the vaccination of healthy horses and foals 10 months of age and older as an aid in the prevention of the following diseases of horses:
- Equine Influenza (type A2)
- Equine Encephalomyelitis (Eastern, Western and Venezuelan)
- Equine Rhinopneumonitis (EHV-1 and EHV-4)
- Tetanus
This equine combination vaccine contains killed viruses and does not require reconstitution prior to administration. Fluvac Innovator® 4 should be administered intramuscularly, with a second dose in 3-4 weeks. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. Early revaccination may be advisable when horses are faced with an outbreak or with other conditions which might make heavy exposure likely. Consult a veterinarian before administering this vaccine to pregnant mares.
Supplied as either a single dose syringe (with needle) or 10 dose bottle (needles and syringes sold separately).
If your horse does not require Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis (VEE) protection, we recommend using Fluvac Innovator® 5.
