Frontline® Plus for Dogs is a waterproof topical insecticide for use once monthly on dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older. This powerful spot-on flea control product kills 98 – 100% of fleas and ticks within 24 – 48 hours, and continues working to provide 30 days of protection. It contains 2 highly effective active ingredients: fipronil, which kills adult fleas and ticks, and S-methoprene, which kills flea eggs and flea larvae. Together, these ingredients work to prevent ALL stages of fleas from developing and bothering your pets and your family.
In addition to breaking the flea life cycle, Frontline® Plus for Dogs provides long-lasting tick protection by eliminating 4 main species of ticks: deer ticks (which may carry Lyme disease), brown dog ticks, American dog ticks and lone star ticks. It also protects against chewing lice and aids in the control of sarcoptic mange. This easy to use topical flea preventative can be used on breeding dogs, puppies, and pregnant and lactating female dogs.
