INRA 96 Equine Semen Extender

INRA96® Equine Semen Extender is used for preservation and transport of fresh stallion semen for up to 48 hours. It contains a purified fraction of milk caseins, penicillin, gentamicin, and the fungicide Amphotericin B. It efficiently preserves the fertilizing potential of gametes, and thus improves the fertility rate following artificial insemination with frozen semen. INRA96® may be stored frozen if not used completely, however the manufacturer recommends it only be thawed once. Typically refrigeration is suggested for temperature consistency. Supplied as 200 mL.

Ingredients: INRA 96 Equine Semen Extender contains purified fractions of milk micellar proteins, penicillin, gentamicin, amphotericin.

Indications: INRA 96 Equine Semen Extender is a ready to use semen extender for preservation and shipping of fresh horse semen for up to 48 hours at 4° C and 15° C. INRA 96 offers protection against bacterial and fungal contaminants, as well as being beneficial in extending difficult stallions.

Dosage and Administration: INRA 96 Equine Semen Extender. If the entire contents are not used when the bottle is first opened, the balance may be frozen in sterile containers. Once frozen is it recommended that the bottle only be thawed once.

Storage: For prolonged storage: Store between 2° C and 8° C.
