Indications: Mosquito Halt Repellent Spray for Horses is for the control of face flies, stable flies, house flies, mosquitoes, gnats, mites and lice as well as repelling before the mosquito bite.
Dosage and Administration: Mosquito Halt Repellent Spray for Horses. Hold bottle in upright position when spraying. For initial treatment, apply daily for 2-3 days. After initial application, retreatment would be appropriate one to two times weekly. Also reapply every time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain. Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application, to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a shampoo. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying spray. Cover entire surface of animal with spray, but avoid getting product into horse's eyes or other sensitive areas such as mouth or nose. Brush coat against grain while spraying to ensure adequate penetration of product. As a wipe, apply with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure spray has completely dried before covering with any tack.
Caution: Read entire label before each use. Use only on horses, ponies and goals. Not for use on horses intended for slaughter. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not use on horses or foals intended for slaughter. Do not apply over cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. Do not apply near eyes and mouth. Apply sparingly around ears. Do not apply more than one time per day. Wash hands with soap and water promptly after use. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not treat foals under 12 weeks of age unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for animals. If signs of sensitivity occur, bather the animal with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, or nursing animals.
Storage: Flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame. Contains alcohol. Do not apply to painted or finished wood surfaces. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.
