Natural Vitamin E-AD Injection

Natural E-AD is for use as a supplemental source of vitamins A, D, and E. Natural E-AD injectable d-alpha tocopherol with AD is a clear, sterile water emulsifiable solution of vitamin A, vitamin D3, and vitamin E.

Each mL of sterile solution contains:

• Vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopherol, a natural source of vitamin E): 300 IU
• Vitamin A propionate: 100,000 IU
• Vitamin D3: 10,000 IU

Indications: For use as a supplemental source of vitamins A, D, and E in cattle, sheep, and swine. Natural E-AD injectable d-alpha tocopherol with AD is a clear, sterile water emulsifiable solution of vitamin A, vitamin D3, and vitamin E.

Dosage and Administration: Intramuscular or subcutaneous administration only. May be repeated as needed. If dose is greater than 5 mL, equally divide the dose and inject at two different sites.

Swine

Sows and Gilts:
2 weeks pre-partum: 4-6 ml
2 weeks pre-breeding: 4-6 ml
Pigs:
At birth: 1-2 ml
At weaning: 2-3 ml

Cattle (Dairy and Beef)

Cows and Heifers:
2-3 weeks pre-partum: 8-10 ml
At calving: 8-10 ml
Yearlings: 5-6 ml
Calves:
At birth: 4-6
At weaning: 4-6 ml
Yearlings: 5-6 ml

Sheep

While some parts of the country have high levels of Selenium in their soil and plants, Selenium deficiency has been reported in 46 states. Therefore, most horses require supplementation. Selenium Yeast, the organic form of the mineral, is better absorbed than inorganic Selenium Selenate or Selenite.

Caution: Do not exceed recommended dosage.
Occasionally, reactions of an anaphylactic or allergic nature may occur. Should such reactions occur, treat immediately with injection of epinephrine or antihistamines.
Administration of the product to well nourished animals may cause hypervitaminosis D which may result in hypercalcemia.

Storage: Store at a temperature between 2°-30° C (36°-86° F) in a dark place.
