Protazil® Antiprotozoal Pellets (1.56% diclazuril) is a prescription product for oral use in horses for treatment of EPM (equine protozoal myeloencephalitis) caused by Sarcocystis neurona.
Diclazuril is an anticoccidial (antiprotozoal) compound with activity against several genera of the phylum Apicomplexa.
Protazil® is supplied as oral pellets containing 1.56% diclazuril to be mixed as a top-dress in feed.
