Parasitism in horses can lead to a variety of health issues including organ damage, weight loss, poor growth and respiratory problems. In addition, parasite infestations may contribute to colic, which sometimes results in expensive surgery or even death.
Quest® Plus Equine Oral Gel is an equine dewormer that provides effective treatment and control of the following parasites in horses and ponies:
- Tapeworms
- Large strongyles
- Small strongyles
- Encysted small strongyles
- Roundworms
- Pinworms
- Hairworms
- Large mouth stomach worms
- Bots
Quest® Plus Equine Oral Gel combines moxidectin, which controls a variety of equine parasites, with praziquantel, an ingredient that specifically controls tapeworms. It is safe for use in healthy horses, ponies and foals 6 months of age and older. Testing has not been done in breeding mares or stallions. One syringe will treat a 1500 lb horse. Administer orally.
Supplied as a single dose syringe. Quest® Plus Gel does not impact valuable dung beetle populations, which reduce parasite larvae in feces.
