Salix® (furosemide) Tablets are a diuretic-saluretic equine, bovine, canine, and feline critical care product for prompt relief of edema associated with cardiac insufficiency and acute noninflammatory tissue edema.

A veterinarian's prescription is required for purchase.

Ingredients: Each Salix® (furosemide) Tablet contains 12.5 or 50 milligrams of furosemide: 4-chloro-N-furfuryl-5-sulfamoylanthranilic acid.

Indications: Salix® (furosemide) Tablets are for the treatment of edema associated with cardiac insufficiency and acute non-inflammatory tissue edema in dogs, cats and horses, and for the treatment of physiological parturient edema of the mammary gland and associated structures in cattle.

Dosage and Administration: Consult your veterinarian.

Storage: Store between 59° F and 86° F. Protect from freezing.

Caution: Milk taken from animals during treatment and for 48 hours (four milkings) after the last treatment must not be used for food. Cattle must not be slaughtered for food within 48 hours following last treatment.
