When administered daily, Strongid® C 2X helps break the cycle of parasite infection in your horse or foal.
Parasitism in horses can lead to a variety of health issues including organ damage, weight loss, poor growth and respiratory problems. In addition, parasite infestations may contribute to colic, which sometimes results in expensive surgery or even death.
Strongid® C 2X is an equine dewormer that provides continuous prevention and control of the following parasites in horses:
- Large strongyles
- Small strongyles
- Pinworms
- Roundworms
Strongid® C 2X contains pyrantel tartrate, the same active ingredient found in Strongid® C, in an extra concentrated formula to control a variety of equine parasites. It is safe for use in all healthy horses, including pregnant and lactating mares and breeding stallions. Foals may be given Strongid® C 2X as soon as consistent intake of grain mix occurs (usually between 2-3 months of age). Pellets may be used as a top dress or mixed directly into the feed ration.
