Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate

Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate is a multi-species vaccine for the prevention of Tetanus in healthy horses, cattle, sheep, goats and swine. This product works to help establish an active immunity for prevention against Tetanus. Administer two doses approximately 30 days apart. Protective antibody levels usually occur about two weeks after the second injection of the primary immunization series. Do not vaccinate animals within 21 days before slaughter.

Supplied as either a box of 10 x 1 ml bottles or a single 10 ml bottle.
Needles and syringes sold separately.

Ingredients: Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate is prepared by detoxifying tetanus toxin with formaldehyde solution in such a manner as to allow the antigenic properties to remain intact. Product is purified and concentrated to provide a low dose effective immunizing agent. Contains thimerosal as a preservative.

Indications: Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate is for the vaccination of cattle, horses, sheep, goats and swine against tetanus.

Dosage and Administration: Administer Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate Intramuscular as follows: Horses and cattle - two 1 ml doses; Swine, sheep and goats - two 0.5 ml doses. Interval between doses should be about 30 days. Revaccinate annually.

Storage: Store in the dark at 35° to 45°F (2° to 7°C).

Caution: Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate has a 21 day withdrawal.
