Thyro-L^®

Thyro-L® is used for correction of conditions associated with hypothyroidism in horses. Thyro-L® contains levothyroxine sodium. Each level teaspoon of powder contains approximately 12 mg of levothyroxine sodium, USP. Administer orally once per day, or in divided doses.

Supplied as either a 1 lb or 10 lb bucket.
A veterinarian's prescription is required for purchase.

Ingredients: Thyro-L® contains Levothyroxine sodium (T-4). One level teaspoon contains approximately 12 mg of T-4; one level tablespoonful contains 36 mg of T4.

Indications: Thyro-L® is for use in horses for correction of conditions associated with low circulation thyroid hormone (hypothyroidism).

Dosage and Administration: Consult your veterinarian. See package label for details.

Storage: Store at room temperature and protect from light. Avoid excessive heat (104°F).

Caution: Dosages should be individualized and animals should be monitored daily for clinical signs of hyperthyroidism or hypersensitivity.
