Hydrolyzed silk proteins and moisturizing agents bind to the hair shaft and work together to help prevent breakage and leave your dog with soft, shiny and manageable hair. My Havanese is extremely tangled.What should I do? I always thought a bath would make the tangles  even worse.

I have a Malshi (Maltese/Shitsu.) Will the detangler work when he's so matted? I only comb him out dry as I'm afraid to get the mats wet and make them worse.

Hello, For best results, we recommended applying the detangler on wet hair, preferably after washing with the UltraCruz Canine Shampoo and Conditioner.

Do you wash the hair first or do you just spray and comb

Hi, thanks for the great question. It is recommended to apply the detangler after washing. Under the "Instructions" tab are the directions for use: Wet Use: For best results apply after washing with UltraCruz Canine Shampoo and UltraCruz Canine Conditioner. Spray product onto hair and work in with fingers or comb. Dry Use: Spray enough onto hair to create slip. Work into hair with fingers or comb throughout the entire hair length until it is tangle free. Leave product in hair - do not rinse out.

It has taken me two long years to get him over his fear that he is going to be hit when I brush him. (or worse.) He has long, beautiful black hair but because of neglect, he had horrible mats. When I would brush him he would cry and cry and break my heart. I ordered the detangler and it is AMAZING! I sprayed him dry and it smelled wonderful and works like a charm. And I have tried them all. Her soft hair tangles up and will get matted. This product takes out the tangles easily, is not sticky or greasy. It is very light, leaving her hair clean and with a fresh scent! Great product!

Leaves their coats silky soft and tangle free; really cuts down on the amount of daily brushing/mat removing that I have to do. It also smells really nice and is comparable to other products I have used that cost four times what this costs! I am a fan and will continue using!

He didn't itch the way he did with other products. His hair also didn't mat/knot afterwards either. He was very shiny and healthy looking.

I just love the way his coat feels. After that, I tried the products on some of my other clients (dogs), as I am a groomer, and it really just does work the best for all coat types! I haven't found a pet that this product doesn't work well for. I will be ordering more.
