UltraCruz® Equine BCAA Supplement for Horses is designed to help horses maintain normal glycogen levels in post-exercise muscle tissues and provide necessary components for protein synthesis to help avoid catabolism of muscle tissue (muscle wasting). Glycogen, a stored form of glucose in muscle tissue, is a polysaccharide that acts as an important source of energy for exercise. The three essential branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine, work together with the amino acid L-Glutamine to support normal protein synthesis, normal glycogen levels and healthy muscles. Provided as a tasty pellet for easy administration.
For best results, use for at least 3 days before heavy exercise. Use in accordance with event rules which govern the use of all products, including the timing for when products may be used.
