Do I understand the directions correctly? I do not wet my horse before applying shampoo?

Hello, The horse will need to be rinsed prior to the use of this shampoo. Rinsing the horse will allow for the removal of excess dirt. Thank You, SCAHealth

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW it works!My lovely OTTB has a tendency to really lighten up in the spring and summer, even though he wears a fly sheet. I’ve tried other brands and while they make him pretty, the effects don’t seem to last more than a day or two. Black Diamond shampoo keeps my boy from looking like a muddy chestnut for about a week after each wash. It’s the perfect amount of time for keeping him handsome at shows because I don’t have to wake up at 4am to bathe him before dressage or show jumping. Another Ultra Cruz WIN!

This shampoo though made my horse look slick and super super soft, he immediately looked better and even when he dried, it made him look amazing. Super great product!

I love that SC has come up with a black shampoo gentle enough to use every week and it works, even better than the more expensive products on the market.

It worked miracles and brought out his dark areas and stripes along with the perfect clean of the Ultra Cruz products. I love how easy they are to wash out!
