Hello, can you tell me how much sugar is the both the calming pellets and the calming paste? Can either of these products be given to a horse with EMS/Insulin Resistance?

How quickly does the calming feed take affect? Does it have to be fed for 30 days before seeing results or are the results immediate? Planning a group ride and the calming feed would be wonderful to calm down my mare for the ride. Thanks!

Hello, You may administer this product on an everyday basis if needed. If you are using the supplement for situational use, we recommend administering the product at least 3 days before the stressful event. Depending on the horse, it may take longer to see desired results. Thank you, SCAHealth

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We tried the new UltraCruz EquineWe tried the new UltraCruz Equine Calming Formula on one of our horses, and WOW, that calming formula is AWESOME! It's even better than what we were using before. We brought our palomino (Pal - he's a rescue horse with a lot of issues) to this weekend's barrel race so he could keep another horse company and the former owner of Pal came over to tell us how amazingly calm and healthy he looked. He used to bite himself on the legs and belly until he would bleed. I told her all about the supplements and she was impressed. Gotta love that stuff!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Works!I first began to use this product on my Reiner in May, 2016. The issue was that the first day of an event, he was unsettled in his work. He was worried about signs in the arena, the photographer moving among the stands, just dumb stuff. The second and subsequent days, he would be fine. This is a horse who had earned significant money and loves his job; I just needed something to cool him off the first day. In the past year, I have, without fail, put him on the UltraCruz Equine Calming Formula and it has made a *significant* difference. I begin feeding this to him so that the day we leave, he has been on it for three days. I keep him on his during the event. Even my trainer has been complimentary...my first day's runs are now not throw-aways! .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improves my Stallions attitude and trainabilityI have been using the UltraCruz Calming formula with my Arabian Stallion Sterling TSultan. Hes a young horse in training and at times can become very amped up and excitable, especially around the Mares. Used regularly it has helped TSultan to remain focused during training sessions and allow him to concentrate on the work at hand, Great Product and I highly recommend it for all horses in training.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s magic!I have a ottb who is VERY nervy. He is all race horse. Trying to retrain him was a very challenging thing, as all he wanted to do was throw his head, rear, and go. You could barely brush him he was so anxious all the time. I tried a couple different calming supplements until I came across SCAH. It took a good 2-3 weeks for the supplement to fully kick in, But when it did. WOW. He is a different horse. He’s still hot, and wants to go. But it has helped with all of his anxiousness, and nervousness. That’s what I love about this product it doesn’t affect the horses stamina, or dope them up. It just helps them focus, and gets the stupidness out of the way. 1000000% would recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more worries!This is my 3rd order for the SC Calming Supplement. Purchasing this was an effort to help a young hunter prospect to relax in new surroundings. He acted worried but, maybe distracted, didn’t want to stand still while handling and wouldn’t relax in his stall. I started him on it and wasn’t expecting to get results that this horse showed, it was a week and I noticed he was standing in his stall like the rest of my horses and not continuously moving or acting disrupted. He had his head over the door and was looking for attention with his beautiful soft eyes! After he finished the first bag I hadn’t reordered, I realized ‘Riva’ was starting to go back to his worrying routine. I reordered and in a week on the pellets he was again relaxing. I am thrilled, Riva is happy and so are his stall mates! I have now also added the SC probiotic supplement hoping to help his system heal from worrying and keep him a happy camper! Yay! Another 5 star product from SC!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We had an event week and I putWe had an event week and I put 5 Welsh ponies on the formula for the duration starting the day before. The ponies consisted of a Stallion, a gelding, a 3 year old mare, a yearling colt, and a yearling filly. I was beyond impressed with the results across the board. All 5 ponies were at ease through the entire multiple day event and were noticeably quieter. All of them were better able to handle the requirements of the event. All 5 ponies had different requirements throughout the event. I can't say enough how impressed I was with the product. The pelleted form makes it much easier to feed and it was well liked by all 5 ponies. I will for sure continue to use this product in the future!!

I have a very hot 8 year old Friesian gelding and this supplement has made a huge difference in his over all wellbeing. He rarely spooks now, is less reactive, and is over all more comfortable in his own skin. We have never been able to trail ride, but now we can. I will keep him on it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for usI tried this for my gelding, and it gave the opposite effect. He was hyped up and constantly twitchy with things he otherwise was fine with. I think my boy is just sensitive to magnesium, as this is the second product with added magnesium that has done this. So, not saying the product as a whole is bad; just not right for my gelding!
