For the 4# MSM, 4# glucosamine, 1# condroitin powder bundle, is BOTH the glucosamine and chondroitin in powder form? Or is the glucosamine in pellet form?

My friend told me about Santa Cruz Animal Health and I immediately purchased both the MSM and Glucosamine. I purchased one in pelleted form and the other in powder since my horse can be weird about powders. She eats the powder with no problem and so I will most likely switch to the powder form in both. I greatly appreciate being able to provide my horse with the joint support she needs at a fraction of the cost! I also just purchased an OTTB and am going to start her on both supplements as well as I’m sure years of racing has worn down her joints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems to Worka specific source/brand or if it's just that horse. That said, this seems to work well as an anti-inflammatory for my horse. I combine it with Glucosamine and MSM and his joints no longer crackle all the time like they did when I got him 8 months ago with the supplements and consistent work, even through winter, and he does not seem to have any joint/inflammation issues despite a consistent workload. I know the jury is still out on the effectiveness of oral Glucosamine and Chondroitin but I plan to keep using it as this combination seems to work well for us.

My horse has been on this now for almost 3 months. I can see a difference in his movement and when I pick up his legs - he is more willing to bend his knees. I only wish you made it in individual servings...the indivdual bags are great when traveling!

I heard Glucosamine may give him some relief and we tried it. Within the first week he was walking fine and now he thinks he is the King of the pasture...I have just received my second bag(ordered larger bag this time). Very pleased with the results.

My 12 year old Equitation had hock soreness over last spring and summer and using this product along with Ultracruz Glucosamine has given him back his spring in his step!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super joint supplement for horses of any age!I started feeding UltraCruz® Equine Glucosamine Sulfate to my performance horse and after seeing super results with him, I also started feeding it to my 3 older horses which are 20, 22 and 25 years in age and are doing fantastic! Bordeaux, who is a 9 year old jumper/eventer, started showing great improvement in his hind end after starting him on UltraCruz® Equine Glucosamine Sulfate. He now moves much more fluent with no signs of discomfort.
