UltraCruz® Equine Shampoo Plus for Horses contains a blend of naturally based cleaning agents enriched with aloe vera, proteins, vitamins and moisturizers and provides natural products to help maintain healthy skin. It produces a rich fragrant lather to remove dirt and debris from the coat, mane and tail for a soft and shiny appearance. The combination of Tea Tree oil, Clove oil and Cedarwood oil work together to help relieve your horse of dry, itchy or irritated skin without the use of harmful chemicals. The natural anti-microbial properties may be beneficial for horses with skin conditions such as girth itch and rain rot.
Tea Tree oil may be effective in a variety of dermatologic conditions including dandruff and other skin infections.
Clove oil is known for its antiseptic properties, making it useful for wounds, cuts, and fungal infections. It can also be used for treating insect bites and stings.
Cedarwood oil prevents minor wounds from becoming septic as well as protecting them from tetanus germs. It can safely be applied externally on wounds as an antiseptic, and it is even used as an ingredient in herbal antiseptic creams.
