Can I use this product with the Senior Joint Formula? If so, how best is it to use. On the day of a ride? After the ride if needed? I noticed both have devils claw in them. Would it be better to use the Senior Joint daily and a pain relief lineament?

Hello, Our products are compatible and can be used in conjunction. However, since they both do contain devil's claw, I would recommend consulting your veterinarian before using both together. If you are strictly targeting joint pain on your senior horse, I would recommend using that as a daily supplement. We do sell lineament spray and gel if you would like to add that into your routine as well.

Is this intended for extended daily use or on an occasional basis? Looking for support for an aging retired competition horse that is showing some discomfort from an old injury.

Thank you for inquiring with Santa Cruz Animal Health. This product is labeled for daily use however is contraindicated in gastric/duodenal ulcers; should not be used in conjunction with NSAID's. Use with caution in animals at risk for GI ulcerations. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. Not to be used by pregnant or nursing mares.

What are the full list of ingrediants? Why can't this product be used with NSAIDS?

Thank you for inquiring with Santa Cruz Animal Health. This product is contraindicated in gastric/duodenal ulcers and should not be used in conjunction with NSAID's. Use with caution in animals at risk for GI ulcerations. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. The guaranteed analysis for this product is: Active Ingredients (Pellet): Per recommended daily dosage (1 scoop; 30 g): Devil's Claw: 350 mg Yucca Schidigera Extract: 300 mg Vitamin B12: 0.02 mg Inactive Ingredients (Pellet): Flax Seed (milled), Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Soybean oil, Apple Powder, Molasses, Lignin Sulfonate, Calcium Propionate (as a preservative).

My horse is too tall for me to use pastes. Are the pellets flavored? How do you administer the liquid?

Hi, thanks for the question. Full ingredient lists are under the "Ingredients" tabs. The pellets contain Natural Apple Powder and molasses which give them flavor. The liquid can be administered orally or top dressed on feed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultracruz ReliefI tried this product on my 10yr old gelding who has an old shoulder injury, he's not lame but he doesn't always seem to be comfortable. While being on this product, I had noticed a difference in his step almost instantly. He seemed more comfortable and happy, was even running around which he never does. Plus side is this supplement is extremely inexpensive which is great on the wallet. Will continue to buy this as I can feed it all year round and will start my other gelding on it for added comfort. Thanks Santa Cruz Animal Health for allowing me to finally find a in expensive product that actually works!

She has a bad hoof and arthritis and a hard time walking during the cold, icy winters or anytime the ground hardens. The vet had given me Bute for her in the past, but I wanted to find a natural product. I tried other brands in the past, and none of them gave her the relief that UltraCruz's brand does. Also product comparisons showed me more or better ingredients for a much better price. I highly recommend UltraCruz Equine Relief.
