Chondroitin Sulfate and Glucosamine work together to support new and existing cartilage.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a component of synovial fluid in the joint capsule and surrounding supportive tissues, and helps to lubricate the joint.

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a source of sulfur that has been shown to provide building blocks for cartilage.

How long can this product be stored and still retain active ingredient stability?

Hi, Our supplements last about a year after they are made and packaged. As long as they are resealed and stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, they will be good until the expiration date.

Hello, I have been giving my 3 horses the Ultra Cruz Natural Vit. E and would like to add a joint supplement. Horses ages 14-23. I am looking at the Senior Joint supplement. Is that something that you would recommend even for the soon to be 15 yo. Thanks

what age do you consider a senior horse?...

Hello! Our Senior Joint Care is formulated for horses that may have less teeth or a harder time chewing and need the extra joint support for basic maintenance. All horses are unique, but we usually recommend it for horses in there 20's and 30's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One stop shop - it has it all!This is the only joint supplement that I’ve found that has MSM, glucosamine, Chondroitin, boswellia, and hyaluronic acid, at a reasonable price. I’d been giving it to my two horses with navicular but recently learned that it’s likely helpful for three of my other horses too, who are “easy keepers”. I’ve been using this product for about 3 months now with the navicular horses (just started using it a few days ago with the three others I mentioned) and have noticed that the 21 one year old navicular horse is loping in over hard frozen ground for her supplement and the other one was out bucking and farting with the youngsters. So, I think it’s helping them.

The Senior Joint Care has a more complete "package" so thought I would try to give him an complete joint care supplement. He had no problem with the change. He must like the taste as he pushes his mouth around so he can eat these pellets first! He hasn't been on them long enough for me to give a complete review but he is cantering around the pasture without any issues. I like Santa Cruz products and when ordering on line they arrive very fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best everMy 27 year old horse was stiff and never moved above a walk. I put him on this supplement about three months ago and he is a different horse. He trots and runs everywhere now. Plays with the other horses and is much happier. I am amazed and so glad I found Santa Cruz. Best think I have done for my horse as he aged.

I love that I can buy a 25 lb container and it lasts for 6 months, after tons of research and switching through multiple products this is the best joint supplement I found that has high levels of quality ingredients for my senior horse at a much better price than the local feed stores. I don't ever plan on switching to another joint supplement. I'd recommend this to anyone. I'll be honest that I have not noticed a visible difference in my horses stiffness, but her arthritis does not seem to have progressed or gotten worse, for a 27-year-old horse she's doing really well and I certainly think quality supplements have contributed to that!!

I started giving the Senior Joint Care to my horse and the last time my farrier came to trim he was amazed in which he could lift his legs with little or no resistance. I also noticed my horse is more active .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Senior joint supplement is the best!I have been using this supplement for 1 year my horse moves so much easier . She has a stifle issue and this definitely helped her. She is able to keep better conformation which in turn has stopped her stifle from sticking . Normally on a 1 hour ride her stifle would stick 6-7 times now it’s hardly ever!
