UltraCruz® Equine Flax Oil Blend Supplement for Horses is a supplement for horses that contains pure cold-pressed Flax (Linseed) Oil blended with Soybean Oil. This supplement is provided as a palatable liquid and serves as an excellent source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids for horses that are lacking them in their diet, or consuming a diet with an imbalanced ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 Fatty Acids. A diet with a balanced fatty acid ratio is essential for healthy skin, coat, and hooves as well as supporting a normal inflammatory response.

Flax Seed is a rich source of the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid, which is classified as an Omega-3 Fatty Acid. Flax Seed is one of the greatest plant sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids.

Flax Oil is a supplement that helps support the skin and coat, and promotes stronger hooves. It is also a great source of "cool calories" for working or performance horses.

Soybean Oil is extracted from whole soybeans and contains beneficial unsaturated fats with Omega-3 essential fatty acids and Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps support your animal's immune system.

Is soy oil ok for most horses any draw backs thanks

Hello, Soy should be ok for most horses, however this can vary from horse to horse. For more specified information regarding your animal, we would recommend reaching out to your veterinarian. The measurement guidelines aren't very clear. For a 1000 pound horse, how many oz should they receive daily? I ordered the pump and I believe it is 2oz per pump.

Hello, The pump does dispense approximately 2 ounces per pump. For a 1000lb horse, it is recommended that they get 1/4 cup twice a day. This would equate to 1 pump twice per day. For advanced needs, it is recommended that a 1000lb horse get 1/3 cup twice a day. This is equivalent to approximately one and a half pumps twice a day.

Hello! We do not recommend this products for dogs. If you are looking to supplement your dog with Omega 3s, we recommend our UltraCruz Canine Pure Salmon Oil.

What is the actual omega 3 to 6 ratio for the blended product?

It was recommended to me that because of how severe my horses allergies are, that adding extra omegas into his diet will benefit him. He loves this, he slurps it right up. I've been seeing a much more noticeable difference with his allergies with both of these products combined. Great product will continue to keep buying.

He licked biscuits bucket clean. I normally have to grain him and the next wait until I feed him as that is the only way he would he woukd eat his grain.
