UltraCruz® Goat and Sheep Ammonium Chloride Supplement

  • Helps maintain normal urinary pH levels, which may reduce likelihood of crystal formation.
  • Supports healthy urinary function

UltraCruz® Goat and Sheep Ammonium Chloride Supplement is beneficial to aid in the reduction of urinary crystals in ruminants. An imbalance in minerals in the diet can alter the pH level of the urinary tract, leading to discomfort in male goat and sheep. Ammonium chloride helps maintain normal urinary pH levels, which may reduce likelihood of crystal formation.

Can this be fed free choice with free choice minerals? We have 15 to 20 bucks in containment on feed and hay and offer free choice minerals.

Asked by: SFKC
For the most effective results we would recommend to feed individually. But you could also add with other minerals as a free choice mineral. For a better answer we would recommend you contact your Vet to give you the best answer for feeding your herd.

I'm confused at the 1 tsp per 1-2 gallons per day per animal... I have 4 dwarf goats. How do I get enough in them at that rate? They don't drink a whole gallon of water a day...

Asked by: Kgoat
Hello, This supplement can also be fed in your animals feed. For correct dosage, add 1 lb of Ammonium Chloride to every 100 lbs of feed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product and so affordableI know when keeping male goats there is a risk of urinary issues depending on what you feed. I don't normally keep any males after my does are bred. When I found my current buck he was so nice I didn't want to sell him, but I feed grain and I was worried he might develop a problem over time. I found this product and not only is it extremely affordable, it must taste great because he licks his pan clean and so far he is doing great. If you keep male sheep or goats I highly recommend you add this to your feeding routine for the added peace of mind and your boys health.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Pulse DosesMuch better than buying grain that already has ammonium chloride mixed in. It allows to control the amount of AC in their diet and makes pulse dosing much easier.
