I have wethers. Has anyone ever reported a problem with the calcium to phosphorus ratio in this causing urinary calculi?

Why is the phosphorus so high in ratio to the calcium? Is it safe for a wether with these ratios? Is this formulated as a balancer for pasture or for a grain diet? Mine are on pasture. Thanks!

Hello, Calcium is found more in the natural environment compared to that of phosphorus. Our formulation is set to try and balance that out to stay closer to the 2:1 or 1:1 ratio that is suggested. Our formulations are based on that of a typical diet of goats and sheep. The formulation is not geared specifically toward a grain or pasture diet. Before starting any supplement, we recommend speaking with a veterinarian in regards to feeding this product to wether goats. Thank you, SCAHealth

They have been having problems with copper & zinc deficiencies, regardless of what I have given them for minerals. I give them the copper bolus which has helped but just found this supplement that has zinc and a whole lot more in it. My goats love it and I have shopped around and found this supplement seems to have an amazing amount in it that others do not. The price is also right - my plan? to continue to order from Santa Cruz which is a new company for me as well!

The pellets make it so easy to feed, which isn't a problem because they love this stuff!! The product I was previously using was also pellets but they didn't like it, it was always wasted as they would eat around it no matter what I mixed it with. I also did not notice a difference in their coats like I did with this, almost instantly!! Thank you for this great product!!!!

I had rescued a Pygmy a few months back and her coat has always bothered me I assumed it was from not being properly cared for well let me tell you in just 3 short weeks you wouldn’t even know it’s the same goat!!!!

I already feed a high quality feed to them but since we know our food isn’t as nutritious as it is supposed to be I wanted to add a good quality supplement. I have 2 bottle fed babies (their mother passed away) one of these babies has always had this cough. It would kinda come and go since starting this supplement I haven’t heard her cough at all. This supplement must have what she’s missing/deficient in. Great product and great quality.
