Hello! You use the whole scoop for the probiotics, it should be 6g when you do it this way. The UltraCruz Poultry Electrolyte is a rounded scoop which should be 5.3g. They are similar in dosage, but not quite the same.

Would your probiotic remain viable if used in the water when I soak grains, usually oats, for my chickens? I typically soak 1 to 3 scoops (3-quart scoop) of oats in 2 to 4 gallons. After the oats swell and/or ferment, I drain them and feed.

Hello! We recommend using our UltraCruz poultry probiotic in drinking water. While this would still probably work, the best way is ingestion through the drinking water.

Hello! We have both a 2lb and 10lb bucket of the UltraCruz Poultry Probiotic. To administer the product to your flock, mix one scoop per gallon of drinking water and change out the water every 12 hours. (One scoop will equal 6g.)

I add poultry probiotic to warm water and mix well, but later I notice that some of the product has formed a circle at the bottom of the waterer. In other words, it apparently is not completely dissolving. Do you have any tips? Thank you.

Hello! The circle you see may be some of the product falling out of solution. This is likely just the carrier for the bacteria which will be ingested by the poultry through the water, so it should not negatively alter the effectiveness of the product. To prevent this from happening in the future, you may decrease the amount of solution given to the animals and change the water more frequently.

Hello! You may add the probiotics to the water as often as needed. The water needs to be changed every 12 hours to promote healthy chickens.

Probiotics for poultry can help eliminate the need for additional treatments by protecting the healthy balance of flora in the gut. They are my go to for regaining and maintaining health; they can be used as treatment and prevention. Really important as a restorative after copper or other antibiotic (natural or otherwise) It has really helped as part of the treatment protocol for sourcrop too.

My chicks seem so much happier when I give them this product, and they drink a lot more when I add this. I did see we didn't have Pasty Butt once I added this to the water. Another big bonus both the meat and layer chicks had a lot more energy. The chicks are happy with this product which makes me happy. Another bonus is this is super easy to mix in the water, I love that it doesn't have any coloring added to it. I will definitely be buying more of this product!

The flock are looking way better and the egg production has been more higher with the hens. Since it’s has been raining haven’t tried yet the rest of the other products, but no doubt that is a great product, I already made another order of other stuff too!

It doesn’t have an awful smell and the water doesn’t look bad. The chickens still enjoy their water and this as helped any sour crop issues and digestive issues.
