The UltraFlex® Foal Saver® Blanket may help prevent hypothermia in the critical early days of a foal's life, especially in cold climates. It is made with Tekno-Dri® lining to help finish drying the newborn's coat at birth. The additional layers of polarfleece and fiberfill insulation ensure warmth and moisture transport. The outer cover is high-count cotton to withstand repeated washings. The expandable Velcro allows for continued use as the foal grows. The shoulder area stretches for comfort as does the bellyband fastening. Supplied as a single pink or blue blanket. Available in the following sizes: mini, small (Arabian), large (Quarter Horse or Thoroughbred), or X-Large (Large Thoroughbred or Warmblood).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely adjustable and fits closely to the body.I bought this secondhand for a very low price and have now used it on 2 Standardbred foals born in very cold weather. We have a foal due soon and I will again be using it. It is well quilted for warmth (cold MI winters/springs) , but is very adjustable and fits nicely on the little bodies. The wide belly band is excellent for getting a good fit. It also has washed up well and is still good looking after being used on at least 3 foals. I have the light pink and it shows only a few very faint stains/

Unlike other blankets available these are really lightweight and flexible so perfect for brand new babies who need warmth without bulk as they learn to navigate standing, walking etc. Best price available too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for early year foaling!I love these little foal blankets. I had my earliest foal ever on 1/14 and it was hovering right around freezing at the time of her birth. This blanket wicked away any extra moisture I didn’t dry with a towel and kept her toasty warm for the first 10 days of her life while we went thru sub freezing temps. I would never foal out without one!
