Uniprim^® Powder for Horses

Uniprim® Powder for Horses is an unflavored or apple flavored antibiotic powder for horses and foals containing trimethoprim and sulfadiazine. This product is indicated for use in equines where potent systemic antibacterial action against sensitive organisms is required. Uniprim® Powder may be used to treat and control the following bacterial infections: acute strangles, respiratory tract infections, acute urogenital infections, wound infections and abscesses.

Supplied as either a 200 gm, 400 gm, or 1200 gm bucket.

A veterinarian's prescription is required for purchase.

Ingredients: Each gram of Uniprim® Powder for Horses contains 67 mg trimethoprim and 333 mg sulfadiazine.

Indications: Uniprim® Powder for Horses is used in horses where potent systemic antibacterial action against sensitive organisms is required against abcesses, wound infections, urogenital infections, strangle, and respiratory infections. Palatable top-dressed antibiotic.
