Vira Shield^® 6 + VL5 Somnus

Vira Shield® 6+VL5 Somnus is for use in healthy breeding cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers, as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses and Campylobacter fetus, Haemophilus somnus, Leptospira canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo, icterohaemorrhagiae, and pomona. Does not require reconstitution prior to administration. Supplied as a 10 dose or 50 dose bottle. Needles and syringes sold separately.

Ingredients: Vira Shield® 6 + VL5 Somnus is produced from non-cytopathic (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2) and cytopathic (BVD Type 1) isolates. Adjuvant is Xtend® SP. Contains amphotericin B, gentamicin, and thimerosal as preservatives.

Indications: Vira Shield® 6 + VL5 Somnus is for use in healthy breeding cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers, as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses and Campylobacter fetus, Haemophilus somnus, Leptospira canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo, icterohaemorrhagiae, and pomona.

Dosage and Administration: Administer 5 ml Vira Shield® 6 + VL5 Somnus Intramuscular in the neck 2-4 weeks prior to breeding. Revaccinate with Vira Shield® 6 + Somnus in 4-5 weeks. Revaccinate annually or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Storage: Store out of direct sunlight at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze.

Caution: Vira Shield® 6 + VL5 Somnus has a 60 day withdrawal.
