Wellness & Performance Vitamin and Mineral Supplement for Horses– - 5 Grazing Horses of varying color and age

This unique health and wellness formula contains vitamins A, D, E and B12 to support a healthy coat, and Zeolite Silicon (Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminiosilicate) to support healthy cartilage and connective tissue formation. Montmorillonite Clay, an organomineral, helps to maintain healthy intestinal microflora. Biotin, L-Lysine, Copper, Zinc, Cobalt and Manganese work together to support hoof health. Vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin, may help support the immune system. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) functions primarily as an antioxidant.

Flax Oil is a natural source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, which can help with new tissue formation, support digestive efficiency, and provide an excellent caloric addition.

Zeolite Silicon aids with bone growth and density, and helps maintain the strength of connective tissue, such as tendons and ligaments. It can also help with wound healing, cartilage formation, and improves the quality and appearance of skin, hair and hooves.

Vitamin E is most recognized as an antioxidant that works closely with Selenium and Vitamin C to help protect the body from the oxidative stress of exercise, illness and certain medical conditions. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that works with Vitamin A and Vitamin E to protect the tissues of the body, especially those of the respiratory system.

Biotin is a member of the B-vitamin family that helps improve growth rate and hardness of hooves due to its role in collagen formation. In addition, it may support proper insulin and glucose levels.

Zinc is involved in over 100 enzyme systems, from connective tissue formation and antioxidant protection to carbohydrate metabolism and immune system function. It is most recognized for its role in supporting healthy skin and hooves.

Manganese is necessary for formation of chondroitin sulfate. It is also essential in carbohydrate and fat metabolism.

Copper is required for production of connective tissues including tendons, ligaments, cartilage and bone. It is also involved in making Iron available to the body for blood, in producing skin and coat pigments, in proper nerve signaling and in repairing antioxidants.

Several research publications have discussed the impact that Soy may have on horses. To help those customers that are concerned about soy in their horses’ diet, we are now offering our new Advanced Joint in a Soy-free formula. Some horses have been shown to exhibit soy sensitivity and soy has also been reported to have possible negative impacts on horses, including allergic reactions, decreased endocrine function, digestive upsets, and hormonal imbalance (primarily affecting estrogen).

Soy can be especially harmful to those horses that have existing metabolic disorders, including Hypothyroidism and Cushing’s Syndrome.
