Brucella Abortus Vaccine (RB-51)

For use in healthy female cattle 4 to 12 months of age as an aid in the prevention of infection and abortion caused by Brucella abortus.

For use by or under the supervision of a veterinarian. Distribution in the United States shall be limited to authorized recipients designated by proper state officials under such additional conditions as these authorities may require.

Ingredients: Brucella abortus strain RB-51

Rx: Available only to licensed veterinarians

Indications: Brucella Abortus Vaccine (RB-51) is for use in vaccinating healthy female cattle 4 to 12 months of age to aid in the prevention of infection and abortion caused by Brucella abortus.

Dosage and Administration: Please contact your veterinarian regarding dosage instructions. Rehydrate with accompanying vial of sterile diluent. Diluent is a buffered solution specifically prepared for use with this vaccine. Shake well after rehydration. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 3 weeks before slaughter. Inject 2ml subcutaneously.

Storage: Store at 2-8°C. Do not Freeze.

Warning: Do not administer to pregnant cows.

Caution: Anaphylactoid reaction may occur following administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent.In the event of accidental human exposure, consult a physician. Warning– this organism is Rifampin and Penicillin resistant. Burn, autoclave, or chemically disinfect container and all unused contents.
