Vira Shield^® 6 + L5

Vira Shield® 6+L5 is for use in healthy cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers, as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses and Leptospira canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo, icterohaemorrhagiae, and pomona. Does not require reconstitution prior to administration. Supplied as a 10 dose or 50 dose bottle. Needles and syringes sold separately.

Ingredients: Vira Shield® 6 + L5 produced from non-cytopathic (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2) and cytopathic (BVD Type 1) isolates. Contains amphotericin B, gentamicin, and thimerosal as preservatives.

Indications: Vira Shield® 6 + L5 is safe for use in healthy cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers. This vaccine is for the protection from diseases caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (Pl3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses and Leptospira canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo, icterohaemorrhagiae, and pomoa.

Dosage and Administration: Vira Shield® 6 + L5. Shake well before using. Administer 5 ml subcutaneously. Revaccinate in 4 to 5 weeks. Vaccinate dairy cows at dry-off. Revaccinate annually or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Caution: Vira Shield® 6 + L5. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 60 days prior to slaughter. Transient swelling may occur at site of injection. Anaphylactic reactions may occur. Symptomatic treatment: epinephrine.
Consult a veterinarian before administering vaccines.

Storage: Store out of direct sunlight at 2° - 7° C (35° -45° F). Do not freeze.
