Vira Shield^® 6 + VL5HB

Vira Shield® 6+VL5 HB is for use in healthy breeding cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers, as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses and Campylobacter fetus, Leptospira canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo-bovis, icterohaemorrhagiae, and pomona. For use in calves vaccinated at four weeks of age, or older, as an aid in the prevention of hardjo-bovis kidney colonization, and as an aid in preventing urinary shedding and reproductive tract infection for 12 months. 60 day withdrawal. Does not require reconstitution prior to administration. Supplied as a 10 dose or 50 dose bottle. Needles and syringes sold separately.

Ingredients: Vira Shield® 6 + VL5HB contains IBR, BVD (NCP Types 1 & 2 and CP type 1), PI3, BRSV (KV), Campylobacter fetus, Haemophilus somnus, Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagia, L. pomona bacterin. Contains amphotericin B, gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives.

Indications: Vira Shield® 6 + VL5HB is for protection against IBR, BVD, PI-33, BRSV, Lepto 5 (including Hardjo and Bovis). The only vaccine with 3 BVD isolates - noncytopathic (NCP) Type 1, NCP Type 2 and cytopathic (CP) Type 1. Safe for pregnant cows. First and only inactivated viral vaccine with Lepto hardjo and bovis.

Dosage and Administration: Administer 5 ml Vira Shield® 6 + VL5HB Subcutaneous 2-4 weeks prior to breeding. Revaccinate in 4-5 weeks. Revaccinate annually or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Storage: Store out of direct sunlight at 2°-7° C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze.

Caution: Vira Shield® 6 + VL5HB has a 60 day withdrawal.
