UltraCruz® Equine Flax Oil Blend Supplement for Horses is a supplement for horses that contains pure cold-pressed Flax (Linseed) Oil blended with Soybean Oil. This supplement is provided as a palatable liquid and serves as an excellent source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids for horses that are lacking them in their diet, or consuming a diet with an imbalanced ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 Fatty Acids. A diet with a balanced fatty acid ratio is essential for healthy skin, coat, and hooves as well as supporting a normal inflammatory response.
Flax Seed is a rich source of the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid, which is classified as an Omega-3 Fatty Acid. Flax Seed is one of the greatest plant sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
