UltraCruz® Inoculating Loops are sterile by gamma irradiation and vacuum-gas plasma treated, allowing liquid and solid culture medium attachment. Made from high quality polypropylene, Inoculating Loops are useful for retrieving inoculum using surface tension. The loop is used to cultivate microbes by streaking agar in a petri dish or plate for subsequent growth. The size of the loop is consistent, assuring accurate and repeatable transfers. The stem of the Inoculating Loop is flexible and can be bent to access small volume tubes and dishes and is color-coded for easy identification. Inoculating loops are packaged in peel-to-open paper/plastic wrappers.
