UltraCruz® Polypropylene Multiwell Storage Microplates are manufactured from high quality, virgin polypropylene resin (PP) and are recommended for long term storage of active agents, patient samples in diagnostics, and DNA, RNA or stock cultures. Produced with uniform external dimensions and tolerances, Storage Microplates are designed to meet industry standard specifications to facilitate compatibility with microplate handling and robotics. These multiwell plates are biologically inert and resistant to many standard laboratory chemicals, and can tolerate extreme temperature ranges (-196° C to 121° C). Storage microplates have a well-to-well distance of 9 mm, allow large volumes of samples, ideal for storing or transporting sample material or for cultivating bacteria or yeasts, and are labeled with alphanumeric markings for easy identification of individual wells. Stackable and non-sterile, Polypropylene Multiwell Storage Microplates are DNase/RNase free, free of human DNA and non-pyrogenic. Storage microplates are available in 96 well microplate format.
