ExactaCruz® Transfer Pipettes are suitable for quick transfer of liquids in a variety of general laboratory applications. For example, these sterile Transfer Pipettes are ideal for microbiology, chemistry, blood banking, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, and tissue culture applications. Possible uses include dispensing small volumes, loading hemocytometers, and transferring liquid to and from multi-well plates. High quality plastic Transfer Pipettes are molded in one piece from unbreakable, sterile, translucent, low density polyethylene. This plastic construction allows the long flexible stem to be bent, unlike glass pipettes that can easily be broken. Furthermore, disposable Transfer Pipettes reduce loss of cells and proteins that bind to glass and lower costs by eliminating “sharps” disposal. Transfer Pipettes feature a built-in pipette bulb and easy-to-read graduations along the stem. They are offered in bulk for convenience and come individually wrapped to ensure sterility.
